Julian Assange’s wife Stella says her husband ‘risks losing his life’

Julian risks losing his life either to the death penalty or to being assassinated because we know that the US Administration under the Trump Administration previously had already plotted to assassinate him and uh also if he is taken to the United States he will be placed under conditions of

Extreme isolation which could and will drive him to commit suicide given everything that Julian has gone through do you think he would do it again if he had to the US is essentially criminalizing public interest journalism exposing uh the killing of innocent people can never be considered uh a

Crime in a democratic and open Society we have two little boys uh they’re five and six years old and they need their father every day that Julian is in prison is a day that they’re deprived of their father

Speaking to Sky News, Stella Assange claimed that the US government tried to kill her husband when Donald Trump was president.

  1. He knew what he was doing all the time, and what would happen if he continued down the road that he took. There’s not a government that doesn’t have its own agenda. They’re not for the people government governments are for themselves. The people are just there as worker beesto pay for whatever the government wants

  2. Assange knew what the consequences for his actions were…..And his actions resulted in deaths and financial losses. That is not covered under journalism.

  3. He got people killed and rather than stand up and defend his actions in court where he might win with the claim he's a "journalist" – instead he hid from prosecution because he didn't want to face judgment. A real "journalist" would be happy to defend their art, a scoundrel will make any excuse to avoid that. Seems clear what he is…

  4. May 2019: The US government indicts Assange on 18 charges over WikiLeaks' publication of classified documents. Prosecutors say he conspired with US army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to hack into a Pentagon computer and release secret diplomatic cables and military files on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
