From Crimea to Kyiv in 6 minutes and Crimea to Odesa in 3 minutes is no joke. I read about them a few weeks ago and found out they cruise at Mach 5.5 and then accelerate to Mach 7.5 approaching the target, so I guess the best chance to hit them is while they are cruising.
It doesn’t look like a bluff, those missiles hit Kyiv so fast from Crimea that Ukraine didn’t even have time to set off an air raid siren. The wreckage also showed signs that they are actually using a scramjet engine instead of a solid propellant motor, which would be the first confirmed usage of that technology in combat.
