Before anyone makes a reactionary comment. Read the article. They plan on doing this to an invasive owl (Barred Owl) that is wiping out a native species of Owl (Northern Spotted Owl). If nothing is done, the Spotted Owl will go extinct in our lifetime.

I’m shocked there are that many owls to kill.
