In america we do this thing where if you’re rich enough or famous enough you dont ever go to jail for your crimes. You can simply hire a legal team to come up with ways to stall out for literally years and years and eventually make it go away. A sizable donation to the right politician will also do wonders.
My father used to say this all the time after the OJ Simpson trial.

I’m an American and completely agree. It’s ridiculous what this has become. Trump doesn’t care about ASAP he’s just using him as a pawn in his re-election campaign. If he can even somewhat claim his actions got him released that’s all he’ll talk about for weeks to try and drum up support from younger voters. Hell even when he said he would be undertaking the task of freeing ASAP he had to shout out Kanye and mention him. His motives are so transparent and I hope most people can see that. Good on Sweden for standing their ground and not giving in.
