  1. Some good news, if I ever live to see it of course, but I love this kind of thing if well done. As an adult lol.

The size seems unambitious for the “national” scope it claims but sure I’ll take it.

    Anyone else (cautiously) excited?

  2. As someone who loves astrophysics and astrometry……….

    FUCK. YES.

  3. We don’t get a white rafting course but we get this?!?

  4. Can all those who objected to the white water centre for €22m please be outraged at the thought of this for €50m.
The argument I believe was “Can’t the money be better spent elsewhere?”
As someone who kayaks it would have been class! As someone who doesn’t have a keen interest in space I am not going to go around shouting at where it could have been spent elsewhere

  5. That’s good, but is it enough? They’ll also need yellow light, red light, blue light etc.

  6. White water rafting in the sea of tranquility anyone?

  7. Went to the one in new York recently. Its a treasure.

  8. Great news, so lucky to live within walking distance of this.
