I'm not saying Finland isn't happy. I have received a less than happy response about this title and I find it so interesting and then I found this article.

  2. I don’t think the ladder metaphor question is the issue.

    The issue most people have with the ranking is labeling it “happiness” index instead of “contentness”.

  3. After 4 years of living in Finland, I can confirm this is the richest I’ve ever been, the most comfortable quality-of-life-wise, and also the most depressed. 😃👍
