  1. You have to be extraordinarily brave to be an honest journalist in Russia

  2. And if they bring back the death penalty, you know which class of “criminals” will be the first to get it…

  3. Putin is desperate to make his leadership look legitimate, but his fear of dissent shows that it is all a sham.

    Pathetic.

  4. The fear is real, Putin’s clutching at straws. Democracy is a farce in those hands

  5. The rot had been festering for a long time, but the outside world is beginning to get a peek in at just how extensive the rot is .

  6. Oh of course, the Russian government is such a joke.

  7. What a horrible place to live, if you don’t 100% support whatever Putin does you’re off to prison to die.

  8. In Russia, REAL journalists go to jail.

Which is why Tucker Carlson did not go to jail, when he was in Russia.

  9. They should put Medvedev in gulag for being extremely stupid

  10. She’s literally saying goodbye to the world in this photo.

  11. >Back in 2021, Biden said he “made it clear” to Putin “that I believe the consequences of that would be devastating for Russia” if Navalny were to die under these circumstances.

Biden/USA months after killing of Navalny: ….

  12. This does not surprise anyone I think , so sad …. Putin is a sick narcissistic devil.

  13. Smh, i read the title initially as “jailed on charges of journalism”

  14. I’ll never understand how people, like these journalists, write the stuff they do while still living under the regime. There’s ever only one way it ends for them.

I’m sure she snd other’s have a way better understanding of the subject since they live it, but still it seems like a bad idea.

  15. The more prevalent this is shared the less likely she’ll be released
