  1. Pointless to say the least.

Only if the three-year work experience benefits are counted in, which will also be increased, can the situation be saved, but just for a bit.

    It’s simply not enough.

  2. That’s really low. The prices and the rents in Greece due to inflation are extremely high. An average wage is around 1000 EUR while the rents including heating etc can be more than 600 euros..

  3. People need cooperatives. Not inflation inducing wage hikes. Housing cooperatives, worker cooperatives, agro cooperatives.

  4. big joke, they’re laughing at us.

a shame how they care for us.

  5. This isn’t going to realistically help anything, half the population lives in Athens and with the cost of rent and food here people are going to be barely making ends meet with 830. Salaries in Greece need to go up across the board to be frank, I work for a multinational corp and get paid about 3 times less than an equivalent position elsewhere (they also don’t pay overtime since we aren’t unionized). If I wasn’t splitting rent with my wife I wouldn’t be able to afford my own place, and this is supposed to be a good salary relative to what ppl here make.

  6. Isn’t wage paid in Greece in 14 installments? How much per month would it be when considering 13th and 14th?

  7. You do realize it’s the mininum. Find a job that pays better? Why is it the government’s responsibility?
