A bastion of sovereignty, Ex-USN LST BRP Sierra Madre of the Philippine Navy on eternal vigil against those who dare threaten Philippine sovereignty, with the backdrop of a Chinese Coast Guard vessel blockading the waters around her in challenge of it.

This is the outpost the resupply boat Unaiza Mae 4 is resupplying. Marines are stationed on a rotational basis, and they’re expected to be self-sufficient for short amounts of time as the China Coast Guard and Maritime Militia blockade the waters around her and tries to stop resupply missions as seen on videos posted here.
The reason why the PH authorities beached BRP Sierra Madre was that during the 90’s, the PRC was already laying the foundations to the BS claims and coercion we see today.
She’s a commissioned beached LST that looks dilapidated on the outside, but the Marines make due and actually made her inside be relatively livable.
But everyone knows her time is almost up. And that’s what the PRC is banking on, and trying their best to accelerate.
Thankfully the PH authorities are already setting out a plan to build a permanent base on the shoal.
Until their stopped this will continue. First it’s water cannons destroying small vessels. Escalation tree from there Hope I’m wrong

May a harpoon of consequences arrive un lubed to the Chinese coast guard vessels one day.
It can not be fun being assigned that duty. Keep doing your duty and pushing back, boys!
What a rusty old piece of shit
Genuine question, why aren’t the Philippines utilize a small faster boat that can outrun the chinese coast guard for the resupply?
Giving off those Ft Drum vibes. Pretty cool. Only bad thing is that it’s now static and an easy target for missiles. It’d be funny to see a Chinese ship run aground trying to cut across the bow.
