“It was like the Sunday before your Summer holidays end but it went on forever” the only thing Ill say about the pandemic to my grandkids.
Sadly, unless things radically change in the next decade, the misery our grand children will be dealing with in 60+ years is going to make Covid look like a walk in the park.

There are so many posts of people thinking it’s all over. It’s not. There could easily be another variant that’s as deadly as delta, as virulent as Omicron and resistant to vaccines.
This will be the case as long as vaccination rates remain low in the global south as they’ll remain breeding grounds for new variants. We’re not going to be out of this until most of the world is vaccinated. That’ll be around another 2 years time.
So by all means enjoy the reprieve we have now, but don’t get used to it.

Covid ? What is that ? No, never happened, doesn’t concern me.
