A brilliant direct hit from the very first shot of the American 155-mm self-propelled gun “Paladin” of the artillery battalion of the 47th separate mechanized brigade on the russian BMP-3 in the Avdeevsky direction. The mad somersault of the taken aback occupier is attached.

  1. Can anyone explain the chances of a direct hit like this on a moving bmp? Seems wild.

  2. How did that Blues Brothers song go? “Flip, flop, fly, don’t care if I die”.

  3. Maybe not Soyuz but definitely Soil Use.

    For the sunflowers.

  4. That BMP at the end looked much more intact than I thought it would after watching that video. I think that thermal imagery really makes explosions look bigger than normal (normal being watching it visually in the daylight). Is that a thing?

  5. Yep, definitely a Sensor Fuzed Munition which are currently either BONUS or SMart being the only ones currently in NATO inventory

  6. Is there a “hole-in-one” term for artillerymen? Someone on the radio gonna shout put “Kobe!”?

  7. The Paladin has always been my favourite mobile bang bang. A trained crew on these brings the fuck you from 30+ kilometers away
