I have an electric sauna in my apartment, which I heat up twice a week. If you have an electric sauna as well, I recommend wetting the walls and boards with a shower for smoother experience. Adding a couple drops of scents like terva (tar) or savusauna (smoke sauna) to the first scoop of water you throw also makes the experience more luxurious.

In Canada I had one in the house, but that’s rare. At one point I brought an exercise bike in there after hearing Chris Chelios (old age hockey player) used to do that.
In Finland, I was much more casual about it, but the cat loved hanging out.

I have an electric sauna as well. I like it, but smoke sauna is the best! I only go twice (and shower twice, once between and once after) in electric sauna and then switch it off. But in smoke sauna, I can go many times and it doesn’t get too hot or anything. I love it
