  1. “Nah nah it should be legal to intentionally poison people to save on overhead costs.”

  2. It really seems like waiting on regulators and courts to make the right decisions on environment isn’t working. We really need some MLK/Ghandi/Mandela level civil disobedience.

  3. If you read the case the argument is because it is not a new process the EPA exceeded it’s authority.

So that is great, under this type of court argument we would still have lead gas and asbestos.

  4. “But, but, if we can’t use a toxic, compounding forever chemical to make our plastic, we’ll go out of business!”

Good. Next time start a business that actually makes a good product.

  5. Their appeal claimed the process wasn’t new when the law was introduced so it was under the wrong statute for new processes even though the objects they were producing had toxic chemicals? Almost everything is legal until you make a law against it! The chemicals leaching from the containers are harmful, and poisoning food, but the legal system is bound by tighter rules, or wants to! When a judge sees a law is being broken, such as food adulteration, in spite of the incorrect filing, as an officer of the court, I believe he has a duty to report that to the DA!

  6. This explains why everyone is obese and why our cancer rates are so high.

Our dearth of rules is killing us.

  7. Insane, I guess their own family and friends never eat out of plastic containers.

  8. Maybe quite buying the products using this in their packaging.
