What year is this?
The tragic thing about documentaries like this and (what’s his face’s, he was a Sticky) series about Dublin in the 1970s is that the areas struggling were the areas that still struggle, and the problems facing them were relatively similar.
Less overcrowding now but more drugs and more organised criminals isn’t a great trade off for many people.
Interesting as well to note some of the subtle (and unsubtle) critiques of the people living there.
