  1. Does it still have the same thick noodles as the packet ones? Last shin cup I had was really thin noodles

  2. Without a doubt the best. Been scoffing them down for years since I ‘discovered’ them in a store in Brighton. Recommend everyone give them a try. My local Sainsburys do them now

  3. I bought a whole box of those when panicking slightly at the start of the pandemic, then found that the flavour is a bit too powerful for me.

  4. There is a “Big Bowl” version?

That’s news to improve my day 🙂

  5. Noodle cup soba is especially good as well, def worth a try if you see it 👍

  6. These are perfect. Really hot without being insanely hot.

You can buy the non-pot 120g versions in bulk from oriental supermarkets.

  7. I’m a fan of Indo Mie. If you cut up some imitation crab sticks and throw in some spinach it’s almost a gourmet meal.

  8. Definitely one of the best. Great for curing colds and flus 😄

  9. I dramatically underwater these bad boys. I like my piping hot MSG syrup viscous.

  10. They taste really good, but that spicy broth doesn’t half burn when it goes down. You gotta be in the mood for Shin Ramen. I still like them, despite dropping the contents of one in my lap and burning my cock and balls right before I was due to go back to work after Christmas. A burnt pecker does not bandage easily, the nurse had to make several attempts.

  11. I first had these in Japan, 30 years ago. Still think they’re amongst the best for instant ramen.

i always help them out with additional chilli oil [or sesame & chilli flaks] & some Kikkoman shoyu.

btw, the kimchi flavour isn’t as good as the hot. If you want kimchi flavour – put some kimchi in it 😉

  12. Yes! I love this one.
I also love the Buldak x2 spicy but beware if you haven’t tried them before 🥵 spicy food is my fave but I can’t eat the x2 ramen very often

  13. I’m a spice weakling so these make me full body sweat

  14. I briefly attended a military school in the US and my bunk mate was a South Korean dude, he used get these noodles specially shipped to him rather than eat the ones we could get from the commissary. That’s how you know they’re good!

  15. Try putting a slice of cheese on top of it after pouring the water. (Korean here hoping you to enjoy it)

  16. I’m a samyang buldak man, but I’ve recently got into oh ricey pho beef flavour.

  17. They’re good, definitely top 5.

But the absolute best instant noodle has to be Mama brand Creamy Shrimp Tom Yum. They’re brilliant as-is, but throw in a couple of prawns, a couple of sliced chillies, and a fried egg on top… god tier.

  18. As someone who likes Ramen I need to try these. Usually get a Ramen at work which is about £10

  19. Buldak is my all time favourite. That black package super spicy is god tier!

  20. I do love instant noodles and I’ve added this one to the list because I haven’t tried it yet

  21. It’s tasty, but it’s got nothing on IndoMie Mi Goreng Stir-Fry Noodles.

  22. My tea the other night with four microwaved teriyaki bao buns..Mrs was out and couldn’t be arsed cooking.

  23. buldak carbonara noodles are really good. and hwa ramyun too

edit: i usually add a soft boiled egg and sometimes fried polish sausage because its lush

  24. Tell you what you get the pan stuff and bosh an egg in it to finish some good stuff

  25. Nongshim are the undeniable king of instant soup noodles, and that spicy one is champion when you’re trying get the lurgy to fuck off.

  26. I’ve got a little Asian market near me, so many nice choices

  27. It’s king. Have you tried it with poached egg?? Just put 1-3 poached eggs in there after the shin cup has cooked and damn game changing

  28. There is a YouTube video that says to replace half of the water with a half-can of Cream of Mushroom Soup.

I tried it and it was fantastic.

  29. These are top tier, also make it with a dollop of peanut butter and mix up, chuck some chicken in and you have a scumbag satay that’s really good.

  30. Yes these are probably my favourite.

Doubt they’re recommended by the WHO though. The big bowl will be more or less the daily allowance of salt.

    But they taste so good!
