Just accumulate your overtime and take it up as paid holiday. Never ever let them pay out your hours or you’ll be taxed into oblivion. Then use that holiday to escape the government for a few weeks and spend your money in another cheaper country.

How much is a lot? The first 130 hours should be partially exempt from ‘bedrijfsvoorheffing’. I had 38.5 hours of overtime paid at the start of this month and my net pay was only 13 euro less than my gross pay.
You have a tax reduction on the first 135 hours.
Well at least I do, I work in “den chemie”, I thought it was the same in any pc?
