Hi all. Finland is a well known of its crazy prices for a new cars and motorbikes because of robbery taxes (probably most expensive market in the EU).

It makes my happiest rate dive deeply when I check Triumph Tiger 900 prices in Finland and compare with the rest of EU.

I'm looking for a guide or advice from people that already imported motorbikes or maybe cars (if process is the same) from Sweden to Finland (or another EU countries if process is the same). Lets assume I found motorbike of my dream on https://www.blocket.se/ and its cost is 100k SEK. What is the process of bringing it to Finland. What papers I need from Swedish side and what certifications I need to pass in Finland? Where should I look for a bikes except 'blocket' website?

How long does it take and what except of autovero I should to consider?

Thank you in advance and happy Easter🫡

  1. Not even close for being most expensive in eu, many countries in EU has way more strick taxation for vehicles. Finns are seriously dumb and lack any perspective.
