Just saw a “peaceful” demonstration in the centre of Amsterdam with dove flags and of course Russian flags. Also added the photo of what kind of peace Russians bring.
Just ridiculous that it is still allowed to walk with Russian flags in Europe. Why they didn’t bring Z swastika to the demonstration?

  2. Freedom of speech cant just be on a case base. Either we guarantee this right to everyone or not at all. Cant have it both ways or it works like in other autocracies. Any national flag in itself is not a forbidden symbol either. Nothing much do to.

  4. I think it’s far more manageable to have this kind of free speech than to alienate and push those people into more extreme groups by blocking them from speaking their (garbage) ideals and opinions.

  5. Saw an interview with one of the pro Russia voters. Guy asks this lady why she voted for Putin and she said because she in favor of Russia. Then he asks her when was the last time she went to Russia and she says 1998. These people are happy to support Russia just not live there. The irony and stupidity is really something else

  25. As much as I agree that russians, and those who sympathise with them.(or atleast those responsable etc) are absolute scum.

    One should never forbid people the flying of a (internationally recognised) flag.

    Us allowing it shows us that we are the bigger people. That we don’t jail people who have a different view, etc.

    To disallow it would make us become the people we so massively dislike.

Did they write somewhere or say on demonstration that they are pro-war? maybe it’s Russians that immigrate because of war and what to stop it or at least show that they against it?
