What are the first and second largest sources?
I’m just wondering if this is one of these articles aimed saying “look, it’s the consumer’s fault, not ours! Look at this scientific study (funded by, us, big oil)” Instead of: “ok guys, here’s the facts, we are all to blame here and here’s the most cost effective thing we can do about it”.
And I’m really curious, would the decay of organics in some kind of home compost bin be the same as far as methane emissions goes? But perhaps, there wouldn’t be the opportunity to control this at an industrial level at home.
Is that third behind fossil fuels and the beef industry?
