  1. When people can’t even work for free because the insurance cost is unaffordable for their council you know the country has been managed well by competent leaders that care about the people.

  2. I don’t understand the “can’t afford the insurance cost by the council”. If a man wears a yellow jacket and holds a lollipop sign out of his own inclination, why does the council need to insure him? He is just a general member of the public doing a good deed for free?

  3. We live in the world’s six largest economy, but are rapidly turning into a failed state, and collectively, we just shrug and accept it

  4. Perfect example of why people need to be a lot more active in local politics. The majority of your everyday issues will be council related, not Westminster.

  5. Most councils are going bust and don’t have room for any luxuries or to avoid cuts.
