So, I’ve finally tried mämmi… and I have to say… oddly I really I love it. I tried it with cream and with cream and vanilla sauce. I like malt and rye so maybe that’s why. In the states we have a lot of stuff with malt in it (ice cream, milkshakes, liquor etc) so maybe that’s contributing to my taste buds! Now…. Salamiakki (how do you spell?) that’s gonna have some major getting used to on my part lol!! Do you like mämmi? 🇫🇮 ❤️

Take a sample and present it to reps at Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, etc. and maybe it will be a hit in the U.S too.

Yes, I do like it. Usually I have it with milk and a bit of sugar. Sometimes with cream but never with vanilla sauce if there is other option available, the sweetness and vanilla just tames the flavour too much.
Some american chef took it to new york and made it ice cream dessert
It’s just the appearance people tend to find off-putting (I think)
