This author is calling for WWIII. Western boots? No fly zones? Sadly, I agree with him: Ukraine isn’t going to win any other way. But it’s not going to happen. Western nations are NOT going to war over a handful of oblasts in the impoverished backwater of Europe.

It’s not even so much about Ukraine winning, they cannot be allowed to lose. If they do, the population will be enslaved, conscripted and pointed directly at the West.
It could also be that the West does not have the capability to halt the war without major consequences that it doesn’t want, so that’s why it hasn’t.
