They even showed the pictures of the queen at Phillips funeral
What annoys me is the apology mentioning ‘it was a time of national mourning’ because of Prince Philip. You think many but his family give a crap about that? People had their own grief and concerns that had far more importance than mourning a stranger. So fuck off with that. However, it is an insult to the queen as a person, as a wife, the same as it is for countless other people up and down the country, who were separated from loved ones when they needed them most.
These scumbags have to face consequences.
But all I see is outrage on the internet. Maybe it’s not the British way, but there’s nobody in the streets protesting. I’m sure Boris feels that just like all the previous shit he’s done, if he keeps acting like it never happened it’ll blow over. And it probably will.
He is never going to step down. Which is what’s wrong with our system. The gentlemen agreements / honour system doesn’t work now. We need laws and real consequences for MP’s behaviour.
Apparently they were having drinks together every Friday throughout the pandemic. If that’s true plenty of conservative MPs must have known what was happening. Its not just Johnson and a few of his staff involved here.
