  1. How many Florida Panthers are left?
During the 1970s, only about 20-30 Florida panthers remained in the wild. Today, there are just over 200 left in the wild. They are found in southern Florida in swamplands such as Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. The subspecies is so critically endangered that it is vulnerable to just about every major threat.

  2. You are way off on your list.

The primates I work work have a total population of only around 80 and they’re lot listed. Of primates they’re the 3rd or so smallest population and there are others in veer similar situations, none of which you list.

The same is true for a *lot* of other species.

You’ve taken a few well known species and listed those, and you’ve not really understood how the criteria for assessing the status of a species works either.

Nice effort, and these species do need attention, but D- on the effort and research.

  3. Florida keys has about 650 Key Deer left, about 120 die from needless car impacts yearly, the Florida Keys Marsh Hare dwindling, there are over 200 plants and insects indigenous only in the Florida Keys, sea level rise will eliminate their habitat in 50 years or less.
