  1. My grandma died at 101 and was forgetful towards the end. She’d ask about her brothers, who had never married or left Holland. Grandma had moved to Canada and raised a family starting in the 1950’s, but was able to visit them back home fairly regularly until they’d both passed away as bachelors.

When told her brothers were both long dead she replied

    “Then Holland is empty”

  2. Show this in r/ukrainerussiareportII

Already banned me for posting ua stuff

Let’s nuke it before it turns to a ru circle jerk

  3. I cannot speak or understand Ukrainian or Russian, but by watching thousands of videos during this war I have come to appreciate the sincerity of the Ukrainian people. Just the way she says “Mariupol” is so genuine. And there is another video of a Ukrainian soldier “baby talking” to comfort a scared stray dog hiding in a pile of rubble as shells explode around them in Avdeeka; gut-wrenching stuff. He says “Are you scared? … yea, so am I” as he gives the pup some food. I mean damn it just hits me straight in the feels. The humanity these people display while going through absolute and total hell is downright admirable.

  4. Fukc you putler !! And all his terrorist pawns.

  5. Show this to Congress and ask them what if their constituents were forced from their homes and couldn’t return because of a lack of support from someone who had the resources, but not the will, to help. How would they and their constituents feel about that someone in the future?

  6. Mariupol will be part of Ukraine, again, some day soon.

  7. Just so you know, she is sitting in the center of Dresden in front of “Zwinger” & Semperoper which in itself has its story to learn from. Glad they made it over as it is one of the best places to be with a kid trying to forget the horrors strolling around in museums, walking the river or simply making a boat tour to Czechia.

PS: also the town in which putler had his spy office as a kgb yes-men.
PS2: also the town in which napoleon set his foot the last time before his defeat in Leipzig (marked by the “N”apoleonic stone close to town-castle, just 200meters from her bench).
PS3: they both should make a city tour to the places of the peaceful revolution of 1988-89, there she will learn that she is right where putler was defeated last time.
PS4: rips my heart apart, the girly has likely same age as my mom when she was sitting on almost the same bench in conditions just like Mariupol today.

  8. Out of the mouths of babes.
So sad. The world is now aware of Putin and Russia murderous plague.

  9. I hope that this sweet girl and her family can return home to Mariupol soon!
