So, this video is from Juufin, a semi-famous Finnish YouTuber known for satirical and ridiculing takes on Finnish reality TV shows, such as ‘Au pairit’ featured here. ‘Au pairit’ follows a group of Finnish young adults working as au pairs in different countries, with the season in the video set in Panama. If you didn’t know, au pairs are foreign helpers living with host families, often assisting with childcare and housework.
Although I’ve only watched the show very little, it’s very cringeworthy. The Finnish participants are typically inexperienced travelers, leading to numerous cultural conflicts and other forms of drama.
