It’s time for privatisation. Whatever this thing that the NHS has became, is no longer fit for purpose. Despite the tireless and heroic efforts of it’s staff. The public are totally to blame. They have watched it disintegrate. No one is left to fight for it due to apathy. The nurses and the unions folded at the first hurdle, weak and toothless as they are.
For some reason nurses feel like they have a duty to the public, they don’t. That is a thing of the past when wages meant something and the public respected them. The majority voted for its destruction at the last election. The opposition provided documents proving the Tory plan but people were swayed by the millionaire owned establishments we call ” news”.
Hopefully the nursing unions will grow some balls when it comes to dealing with private companies. If they are smart about it nurses could get what they want from the start. But I fear they are too weak to do this and will be taken advantage of, as happens now. The doctors won’t, they will come out trumps as they deserve to.
