Slowing economy, population getting older, employers not willing to pay a more attractive wage because they don’t make more money, brain drain to other advanced economy, no independent currency to boost tourism/export, outsourced manufacturing. It’s looking grim. Finland’s about to see a lot more old people working like in Japan to make ends meet when they have technically retired.
Obviously? But it is probably necessary.
Especially old people do not like pension cuts. Surprise.
Old people vote a lot. Will there be cuts? Not enough.
