  1. Can someone explain what 3 Body Problem is about without spoiling the whole thing?

  2. We are collectively exhausted. The onslaught of misinformation and people engaging in bad faith is wearing us down.

I truly hope we can continue pushing forward the wheels of human advancement and empathy, as our species is fractured in its current and historical states.

  3. It’s been 11 years since April 1st fell on a Friday. Yeesh. 2022 feels like yesterday.

So much has happened since then, back when I thought I might be an astronaut. Sigh. Life as a test pilot just isn’t what I wanted. You’d understand if you had to suit up and fly planes that might crash. If you got so high in the air that you could kiss space but knew that you’d never reach it.

I know I can’t be the only one who felt like they traveled in time – went forward so fast that it had to be something magical, mystical. Who else here wonders how it became 2033 so quickly? What is your story?

  4. My wife is pregnant and has been somewhat concerned about bringing a child into world with the way things are. She watched Hunger Games this weekend and had to turn it off because she said it felt like too real of a possibility.

Despite her being told over and over again that The Handmaid’s Tale is really good, I don’t think she’ll be watching it the near future.
