Some (more than just a few) football fans are brain-dead assholes from the lowest gutter of society. Their anti-social behaviour is the reason for this. In particular fans of “Rapid” (one of the worst clubs in that respect) were angry because their fascist homophobe rants were punished by the football association.
same reason people trying to get into the train without letting others exit first.
Vandalism
Some Rapid Vienna players and other officials were caught “celebrating” their win over Austria Vienna by chanting homophobic and other discriminating things. The players were subsequently sanctioned by the league and Ralf Rangnick, coach of our national team refused to call up the players in question and stated that their actions are “diametrically opposed” to anything the nation team stands for. Rapid Vienna fans apparently took offense to that.
’cause obviously being an idiot is mandatory for football fans
