  1. So, how about injuries that cost more (a lot more) than $7650?

  2. I would have thought they would have been offered $737 max.

  3. Fun fact: this one wasn’t actually Boeing’s fault. I do find it hilarious though that they keep getting blamed because they absolutely deserve it

  4. Oh gag, if it’s a Boeing thing (proven negligent history) and the victims organize they can probably get 100x that.

  5. My favorite part is the image they selected for the preview.

    “Baggage drop”

    So did the plane.

  6. Seems like low compensation if someone can never fly again from fear or they get anxiety every time someone flies. Though maybe with climate change looming, we all should be more traumatized that each and every flight takes off. Maybe accepting flying as a natural human state should not be normalized.

  7. You know what we say “if it’s Boeing, I ain’t going”

  8. Makes you wonder what their damage-limit cost is set at? Guess a plane dropping is just pocket change to them.

  9. Payouts range between $2,000 to $7,650

Im sure the cheap seats are getting $2,000
