I’m stunned that Americans *still* don’t know the 1st bloody thing about their healthcare system.
I’m pretty sure they always deny air ambulance bills. Just because they’re so big, they’re worth the chance the patient will give up and pay it. Happened to someone in my family too but they were savvy enough to fight it successfully. Last fucking thing they needed too, with an infant in neonatal ICU.
Unpopular opinion, but I don’t think infants justify such insured expenses, generally. Be willing to pay for it, or address the concern another way
