  1. Well I could’ve used a camp like this when I was 11. 😔

  2. Isn’t she Jonah hill’s sister? Did Jonah Hill’s brother Jordan die?

  3. This is such a great program. My daughter got to go to three after her brother died. They are wonderful.

  4. Used to operate a summer camp not for grieving kids specifically, standard overnight. I had the youngest kid in a family of three kids at different branches of the camp who witnessed their father murder their mother 3 months prior. Kid was challenging to say the least, we hadn’t know this. CEOs daughter was on my staff as was her shit heel boyfriend who was the kids counselor. She and her boyfriend griped that the kid should be kicked out for misbehaving. CEO agreed, but I wanted him to get through and enjoy his time. I learned his story after speaking with his uncle/ guardian. I was blessed with great assistants and we all agreed that he would make it through his 2 week camp session come hell or high water. They helped him and his counselors manage the session. He ended up coming back and is now staff and recognized as one of the most capable staff for coping with challenging kids. Siblings are also staff. Good to watch out for the youngsters going through trauma, knowing it or not.

  5. I used to volunteer with Experience Camps for 6 or 7 years.

They do a *lot* of good, but it is predominantly run by selfish people. Their volunteers are amazing. Their administrative staff, however, are in it for the tax write-off.

Snagging a celebrity to be featured in an article like this is precisely the ghoulish behavior that I came to expect from this organization.
