   That might appease some republicans. Frankly, it doesn’t matter, whatever gets the bill passed asap. 5 or 50 years from now, Ukraine can worry about putative repayments. Provided the country survives.

   Besides, with inflation, in 50 years this money won’t matter.

    Ukraine isn’t interested in playing for votes on the world stage its main objective is stopping Russia destroying its existence and the only way forward is from foreign support , I’m saddened and sickened that the support that has come through is not consistent and many Ukraine lives have been lost .
    There will only be one outcome Russia will be stopped either in Ukraine or in many other countries if this is allowed to continue as Russia will open many new fronts up across the eastern block on its way into Europe.
