MOSCOW, April 2 (Reuters) – President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia will find out who was behind last month’s attack on a concert hall near Moscow that killed at least 144 people.
**”We will definitely get to those who ultimately ordered it,”** Putin told a meeting of Interior Ministry officials. **”We paid a very high price, and the entire analysis of the situation must be extremely objective and professional.”**
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack and U.S. officials say they have intelligence showing it was carried out by the network’s Afghan branch, Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K). Russia says it has evidence the attackers had links to Ukraine, which Kyiv has denied and the United States has rejected as nonsense.
Would be great. Unfortunately Russia is incapable of an objective investigation and not a word out of Putin’s mouth can be trusted.

Start placing bets on which neighboring country they blame and ~~invade~~ start special military operation on next under this pretext, before finding out it was actually Kremlin who paid for the attack!
Or that’s atleast how I’d imagine it goes, but chances are Russia just pissed off Hamas, Isis or some other organization and this is the result. They might’ve even known the attack is happening, but it’s better to let it happen and use it as a pretext to rally the people to the “Russian cause”.

Putin is so used to “ordering” assassinations, that when he talks about other groups carrying out murder, he can only think of it being “ordered” the way he does it. Does anyone else talk about terrorist attacks being ordered?
