9. The ship hit the main abutment that carries the bridge up. So it falls down. Like if somebody cut your legs off.

11. Wow, very sad. Interested to hear why the ship collided with the bridge support. I don't think it's surprising or concerning that it did collapse, I find it worrisome that a boat ran into it to begin with.

12. RIP poor souls! i didnt n otice the first time i watched this.. but now i can see the cars.. Very very sad.. and shocking how the bridge fails the entire way across.. this must be some slopy engineering done on the cheap!

14. Even reinforcements at the piers would not have stop the destruction of the bridge, that vessel is massive.
    I think with design of vessels becoming bigger and bigger you will need to introduce a procedure of using tugs and a pilot to negotiate bridges.
