  1. These complexes are installed on stationary objects or special vehicles and are controlled using a control panel, which allows you to fight at a distance, saving the life of the operator.

Such complexes have already been received by fighters of the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksy Dovbusha. “Shablya” was created in Lviv, Ukraine.

The turret can be armed with 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm machine guns or 40 mm grenade launchers. It is equipped with a thermal imager and a rangefinder that detects targets at a distance of up to 2 km.

  2. I’m getting “Aliens” movie vibes here. “Game over man! Game over!”

  3. A Mk19 on this would tear some shit up 🤩 idk how elevation would work with the camera, but I’m sure those crafty Ukrainians figured it out 🤔

  4. This would make more sense to me if it were in a bunker emplacment where it could be raised to the fighting position and lowered to a safe place for troops to reload/service/replace the weapon. If it can shoot a target, it is equally a target and it’s not invincible. I hope they can show us how it is utilized.

  5. IIRC there were some remote-controlled MG’s positioned on one of the approaches to Bakhmut that caused the Russians some serious headaches.

Awesome to see more popping up on the battlefield!😁

  6. Make it walk to change location, would be awesome.

  7. This was a thriumph, I’m making a note here “huge succes, its hard to overstapte my statisfaction”.

  8. What are the technical problems with developing a vastly bigger ammunition belt?

200 rounds sounds like a problem with having to resupply in hot zones

  9. Awesome! Just needs a kill flash on the lenses assuming it doesn’t effect the optics too much

  10. I’m feeling a strong urge to run towards it with my spanner and hit it repeatedly until it becomes a level two sentry gun.

  11. placing these at the obscure locations would be highly advantageous. The russians could walk passed this thing and just get lit up.

  12. Man throw some robotic legs on there and we have a winner.
