  1. That’s too bad. The strikes shall continue unsupported then.

  2. Quit falling for Russia’s lies. The US’s position has been repeated over and over. ITS NOT OUR WAR SO WE AREN’T TELLING UKRAINE HOW TO RUN IT. That’s it. We neither support nor forbid anything. We give weapons and intel. It’s Ukraine’s job to figure out what to do with that.

  4. It would be completely stupid to publicly state that you *support* it. But this does not mean they oppose it. Don’t get discouraged by silly headlines, politics is a viscous sport. Call your elected officials and petition for aid to Ukraine!

  5. There’s a diplomatic difference between “not supporting” and “discouraging”. Support often means material or informational support. Not moral or emotional.

  6. Strange headline.

It could be interpreted as the US dont support Ukraine’s war when it says the US aint involved in any form on the strikes in russia.

Blinken said that the U.S. does “everything we possibly can to help Ukraine defend itself against this Russian aggression.”

“At the same time, we have neither supported nor enabled strikes by Ukraine outside of its territory,”

  7. Russia isn’t using disinformation on our elections and we’re not supporting Ukraines attacks. Everyone’s just sitting around not doing a thing.

  8. Guys, read beyond the headline. This doesn’t mean they don’t support them being done – it means they’re not supporting them materially. They’re not providing the drones.

  9. The citizens say “fuck em up”. It’s the politicians with forked tongues who are the problem.

  10. Oh for fucks sake, stop being so afraid of offending Putin. Let him think whatever the fuck he thinks. You don’t need to say “we didn’t do anything” every time Ukraine strikes back.

Blinken is a great peacetime diplomat, but he’s not prepared for dealing with a conflict. The role needs more backbone now.

  11. Well, the spice must flow! Otherwise it might affect oil prices and driving that up can cost them the election.

But as a fan of the “thinking machines”, bomb the crap out of them I say.

  12. At this point I’m getting the feeling Ukraine is kinda just ignoring what the us says it can and can’t do and just doing whatever it sees fit to win this war.

  13. US is not doing anything constructive at the moment. In fact they are starting to become a “hindrance” in valiant Ukraine’s efforts to defend itself. The chickenshit Biden administration can’t pin the blame on Russian Mike this time around.

  14. Yeah it 6 month of not supporting with anything at the moment.
    World superpower my ass

  15. You bet there is intel and aid coming straight down the pipe from the US. Naturally, we don’t know what they’re talking about. How could this happen lol

  16. That’s because Ukraine wants to end the war. One very effective way to do it is to bankrupt the aggressor.

  17. Not supporting = (oppose)

Not enabling = (‘We stopped giving them weapons, but Ukraine used self developed drones.’)

  18. Heh cowards. If Ukraine falls, I know who’s responsible.

  19. No, because gas prices are going up, Biden drained the strategic reserve to artificially keep prices lower, and now he can’t fill them back up with cheap oil.

In short, Biden needs to fill strategic reserves and he wants cheap oil. He’ll need Russian oil to hit the markets.

  20. # News: US shrugs! *”It’s their drones”,* they say. Glasses clink behind closed doors! 😁 Slava Ukraini!

  21. If the US gives Ukraine enough weapons the strikes would stop im pretty sure, no one likes weak countries and if Ukraine stops what theyre doing the next thing the US would say would be to stop fighting and give up the land

  22. Hmmm maybe try doubling the amount of strikes and see if the US starts supporting then?

  23. As a US citizen, I would like to tell Blinken to shove it up his ass. Because he does not speak for me. I support the bombing of refineries.

  24. Fuck Blinken then.

Drone the shit out of those Russian oil refineries. Port terminals too. Weapon manufacturing facilities too.

This is 2 years into a full fucking invasion. Russia’s already been doing all these things to Ukraine, and worse. And they aren’t “holding back” anything that they would use to escalate with in retaliation. They will just continue to do more of the same, except with less capability if Ukraine takes some of it out at the source.

  25. I am an American.

I support the attacks on moscovian oil refineries. moscovian military barracks, any moscovian military target. If it happens to be a moscovian soldier walking in moscovia, that is a military target in my book.

Actually, if moscovia can shoot at whatever they want then Ukraine can return the attack and do the same.
