He wants to pay for it himself so the burden isn’t on the British taxpayer. The Home Office won’t let him!
This is getting a little heated. If the guy wants to pay for protection let him. Don’t know why the home office won’t let him. I got big respect for Harry.
No judgement about Harry but… Do people have a right to pay for police protection? Like, if I have 10k or whatever and I book ahead, can I hire a police officer for the day to follow me around and clear a path for me etc?
Why doesn’t he hire a private security firm…..or is that too obvious?
While we continue to make people royal from birth, whether they like it or not, then the state should pay for their protection for the rest of their life. They didn’t ask to be made famous and thrust into the public eye.
