Attended a work related event near Ballyjamesduff, Cavan yesterday, and as we drive past McEnroe’s Garage, I joked to a foreign born tennis loving colleague “That’s John McEnroe’s cousin”…. Turns out I was probably right!!!

Yes can confirm as a fella not too far away from that area, I once shifted someone related to John McEnroe
I think I read somewhere that he visited his ancestors once and they were all Borg fans.
Don’t forget Tom Brady’s Great grandfather also came from Cavan. There is some serious sports pedigree in the Breffni County, it must be something in the water.
