2. Younger and younger men will be drafted. Now it’s 25. Then 24,23,22,21…18… perhaps child soldiers. But eventually they will run out well before Russia does.

3. And they still refuse to draft women. Predictable ofc, but still shameful. Those young men do not somehow owe more to Ukraine than their female counterparts.

7. Daily reminder that forced labour for the state should be banned. Especially military mobilization. It’s unethical and wrong to force civilians into war.

    Shame on Elenskyy and anyone who is supporting this. You should have signed the peace treaty before Russia invaded, or at any point after the invasion.

13. Im surprised the age was as high as 27. At some point it’ll go down to 18. Hopefully not but they’re going to need a lot of bodies to win this.

15. I’ve read that a major complaint of conscription is there’s a fear that you would be sent to the front lines without adequate preparation or and without consideration of your own specialty. It was astonishing hearing early in the war from a milblogger who said his friend who was a pilot became conscripted as infantry. The system should be reformed in order to be more effective and instill confidence in draftees.
