  6. First of all, if there’s anyone who thinks Kirsten Dunst isn’t beautiful, there is something fundamentally wrong with them.

    Secondly, leave Kirsten Dunst the fuck alone because she’s an established prolific actor who deserves none of this bullshit.

  7. I agree with her, and she has aged beautifully in my opinion and is a fantastic actress.

  8. It’s not about beauty, it’s about age. The concept is that women past the age of 30 are not viable leading characters. That their stories are “boring”. That “viewers” (AKA white men 25-50) don’t want to see. Hollywood money goes to the lowest common denominator that appeals to the widest audience. What we’re starting to see shift is that women have financial autonomy and buying power. See Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Barbie et all. Or Reese Witherspoons productions. But yeah, middle aged female roles that are good characters and aren’t just a mother figure or a lol Bridesmaids/Girls Trip comedy are few and far between. So good on her for not just taking those roles. But it’s a great privilege to not HAVE TO take those roles.

  10. She was fantastic in Fargo and I could tell she was older but it has no hold on a good performance, only bad/sad actors feel the need to get work done

  11. There is nothing wrong with being like Cate Blanchett. In fact it’s the people that are in denial and dragged kicking and screaming into older roles that often look the worst.

  14. It’s wild how many actresses with obvious plastic surgery and veneers get cast in period pieces. Completely takes me out of the story.

  15. I can’t stand it when celebrities get plastic surgery to try and look youthful. They always end up looking “off” at best to “inhuman” . Just age like a normal person
