Can we just switch to a war economy already? Get it over with. We can sell weapons worldwide, doesn’t even have to be that big of an issue economically. It doesn’t seem like this is happening even remotely as fast as possible.
Imagine what Russia will think if Europe goes full USA and openly gears up to defend Ukraine. They don’t want that level of beef. Deterrence saves lives. If they catch us in peace mode, that’s when the damage will be immense.
It was fairly sad when the US gave Ukraine the towed artillery that took so long to emplace/displace. I wonder how many of those survived.
