The country desperately needs more prison spaces and more guards on the streets. There is no effective punishment in place at the moment and the justice system is broken.
The timing of this announcement is very suspect…should have been done years ago.

Laughable the change in decisions and tone from these swamp rats in the last 6+ months. With the flick of a switch Helen McEntee is now tough on crime and immigration, after sitting by and watching the country go to shit for the last 4 years
Judge Nolan has refused to comment.
Is she putting in high speed motors on the revolving doors?
And this extra prison place comes from where?
It appears this sub would rather the government stop working entirely if there’s an election in the next 18 months

Anyone else find this kind of funny. They’re doing absolutely everything a power hungry party of tyrants would do right before the big grab for control
New rule for the public, let not vote in these politicians who have no real world experience and vote people on who have a track record of getting stuff done , unfortunately those that get stuff done wouldn’t want to run for election so we might have to force them at gun point
