I enjoyed that! I’ve never seen it go up before. It used to terrify me as a child that we’d get stuck on it any time we drove over. And now I know it is kind of terrifying because it’s so fast!
Oh nice clip. That’s one thing I never mind being stuck in traffic for. I know nothing about bridges except that I love them. Used to see a lot of great lifts in the Netherlands when living there.

After just seeing a load of footage of bridges collapsing in China, this is pretty boring in comparison
All very uplifting (pun intended??), but is no one else horrified by that awful pot hole! It just needs someone to paint on comic glasses and a big smile!

In my 38 years on this planet, I have not once seen this bridge lift in person. I’ve only ever seen videos of it.
I’ve lived in Dublin my whole life too.

I was expecting an old Mount Prospect cop car to come flying over the top of that.
