  1. They can maybe save Russia’s frozen assets by getting Russia to withdraw from Ukraine. So maybe they should spend more time and energy doing that.

The assets should not be used to help this deluded dictator in his attempts at some deluded swan song glory fantasy that results in the death of 100’s of 1000’s of people. Its insane. Once normality returns, so too should the assets to their rightful owner.

  9. To be fair this is such non-punishment for a country that destroyed civilian infrastructure for at least $400 bln. Russia would not only have to pay with these frozen assets, but also with reparations for years to come.

  19. I still don’t understand why this is still being debated, you illegally invade a country without any meaningful reason or provocation and you think there shouldn’t be any consequences. The frozen billions should be used to assist Ukraine defend and retake lost territories.
