Not sure but “Host Broadcaster” speaks to me of a sporting event like perhaps the Olympics. Or given that it’s Scotland maybe the Open golf championship. I could be wrong.
Keeping dry
Host Broadcaster is a term given to the organisation responsible for producing and delivering TV signals for an event. The BBC is the host broadcaster for lots of events, including sports competitions and concerts.
It’s not the TV Host, who presents the programmes.
In this case it was probably just used by a member of a BBC production team when they were covering an event somewhere.
Could be Eurovision from last year.
