You are supposed to install a metal neck between the ceiling and the red cup. “Korotusrengas” is one name for it. Pay attention to ceiling lights that have been designed to lay flat against the ceiling. In Finland, there is always an ugly white metal ring of about 10 cm between the ceiling and the light, if legally installed.
