  1. It’ll happen again. Shoot first, ask question later…oops.

  2. yesterday it was “no evidence it was intentional”… you know, except that they didn’t miss any of them.

also, fuck your apology, this was no accident. at the very best it was negligence, but the fact they knew full well they were hit by aerial strike (as in things hamas can’t do) and then pretended like it was mysterious, would tend to indicate trying cover up an intentional act.

  3. Staunch IDF supporter that I am, this thing is fucked. If this was the US military, I’d say the same shit. Someone’s head should roll honestly.

  4. Apologies are insufficient. All involved must face trial for their war crimes.

  5. They knew what they were doing. Can’t lie your way out of this one.

  6. Pretty damn indefensible. Identify the officer(s) who gave this order, dishonorably discharge and court martial them, open more aid crossings into Gaza, and find a way to compensate and repent to the families of the killed. There is no way to explain this away as an accident.

  7. Since Oct 7 I’ve been supportive of a highly forceful response and hitting Hamas hard. But this is batshit insane.

Just a couple of days ago I was on the World Central Kitchen website looking for volunteer opportunities. I highly encourage donations to their cause now in memory of their team members.

  8. Picked off one by one sounds very systemic and deliberate to me.

  9. What’s the point of having such sophisticated precision weapons if you supposedly have no clue who you’re firing them at? Yet another “Whoops, we killed aid workers/journalists/children with a missile that hit exactly what we aimed it at.”

We hear so much about Israel’s high-tech precision weaponry, and then we see huge swathes of Gaza City where EVERY building has been flattened/ruined, looking no different from carpet-bombed cities in WW2.

  10. I don’t want an apology, I want an explanation for how such a thing occurred.

  11. Israel’s goal for a post UNRWA Gaza requires aid organizations like the WCK.

There is only one aid organization on the planet that is willing to operate on Gaza while Israel targets their employees, and that is the UNRWA. WCK, Anera, and every other aid agency in the region are not going to operate while being assassinated.

If Netanyahu cannot fix this disaster, the UNRWA and their Hamas collaborators will be the sole source of Gazan aid for perpetuity. This little stunt has severely jeopardized Israel’s military goals and given Hamas a lifeline to operate in postwar Gaza

  12. The current Israeli government dearly wants an expanded war (bombing Iranian embassy) so that USA will be dragged into another massive campaign, this time against Iran. They want chaos so they can justify a complete occupation of all Palestinian territory. They don’t care that 7 aid workers were killed. Fuck Netanyahu and anyone who supports him.

  13. Sad it takes shooting citizens of western nations for some in the international community to acknowledge with how little regard to life the IDF and current government operates and how “war is messy we do our best pinky promise” suddenly doesn’t apply anymore.

The US military is a great role model. /s

  14. This puts Biden’s plan to build the temporary pier for aid delivery by sea up in the air.

World Central Kitchen was supposed to be the main organization transporting and using the food.

Now their operations are suspended and that might continue even when the pier is finished if the IDF can’t guarantee WCK staff’s safety.

Wild to think that the US is going to have to come up with a security plan for their troops not just for threats from Hamas but also threats the IDF.

Biden officials are of course very upset but also not planning on doing anything else in response to this latest development.

  15. Assassination, pure and simple. They wanted to make aid workers afraid of helping Palestinians.

  16. Nah this is inexcusable. Those involved need to be punished by law.

  17. It played out just like the murder of those 5 youths the other week; drone striking the group and then picking off the stragglers one at a time.

  18. Wait it wasn’t just one aid car? They picked off several ? That shit wasn’t an accident, apologies my ass. If it was the son or daughter of a politician shit would’ve hit the fan, but since it’s a common citizen they just brush it off.

  19. I imagine the British government will tut loudly and go back to their tea and biscuits.

  20. No matter which way you cut it, Israel is digging their own grave. They’re the ones that have to live in this region, and neither the US, nor its support will last forever.

  21. I truly envy anyone still defending the IDF. I’d give anything to be a virtual airhead in this timeline.

  22. Reduce aid getting into Gaza, plans working but heh don’t worry about all the people dying. Israel has become a rogue state.

  23. It’s funny how people only care about optics and not the statistics

  24. I hope this is opening the eyes of some people here who’ve been supporting israel so far. No i’m not saying anyone should support hamas instead, two wrongs don’t make a right.

But start to take a look at how IDF decides it’s targets. This time it’s western aid workers, and we see outrage. How many times has it been innocent civilians, and no outrage? How close a relation to hamas do you need to become a target, and what percentage of the entire gaza strip becomes a target in that way?

7 oktober was horrible. But two wrongs don’t make a right. And i’m pretty sure that the bombs in gaza are a wrong.

  25. Need more than an empty apology. Those responsible need to spend a lot of time in a prison cell.

  26. Fuck them. Fuck the whole situation over there. IDF gave prior approval for them to move on that route safely then murdered them. Not just a silly “Whoops, we hit the wrong target” it was a systematic murder of the people providing food to those that are being intentionally starved by Israel.

  27. Israel wants to make anyone afraid to help.

    Fucking clown show government.

  28. Bibi scaring away humanitarian aid so they can decimate Rafah

  29. “Misidentification at night, in very complex war conditions” in which they were very aware what and where the convoy was the whole time and decided to slaughter them to send a message. The convoy didn’t appear there out of nowhere, the IDF had full details about their route.

  30. 3 convoys, all more than a mile apart from each other, yet bombed simultaneously. 7 bombings in total, with convoys being rebombed when people attempted to save the wounded. This was deliberate.

  31. Ohhh, he’s “sorry”.  Well, that’s totally fine then, as long as he apologizes for the murders…
    /s

  32. I didn’t realize you could just apologize your way out of a punishment for murdering people.

  33. Netanyahu is a war criminal who is throwing his country’s already damaged reputation into the trash.

  34. “My bad, bro. Totally my bad. We good now, right?”
