    No mention about ICE production requires resources that are energy intensive. Does the OP really think an aluminum block for an ICE and all the casting/machining of parts is not energy intensive?

    Disposal of batteries has been planned since the Model S, that is why Redwood Materials was made. But BEV batteries last much longer than originally thought so Redwood Materials grew slowly. Now there are many companies recycling batteries.

    Hydrogen generally comes from natural gas, a major source of pollution. Or it comes from electricity which is clean, but very inefficient.

    I don’t know that anyone actually believes this. Pretty much any time I hear this, it’s a straw man argument against EVs. Actual EV owners are very much aware that nothing is clean, but EVs are cleaner than ICE vehicles overall.

  3. Why does this well-refuted bullshit keep getting circulated? BEVs are *less bad* than ICE vehicles over normal vehicle lifespans, full-stop.
